Supported Modules
ForgePoint supports programming and diagnostics for the following GM vehicle modules. Each module controls specific vehicle systems and features.
Body Control Module
Controls various body electronics including lighting, door locks, power windows, and security systems. The BCM coordinates communication between multiple vehicle systems.
Instrument Panel Cluster
The main dashboard display showing speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature, and warning lights. Provides critical driver information and vehicle status.
Engine Control Module
Manages engine performance, fuel injection, ignition timing, and emissions control. The ECM is the brain of the engine management system.
Electronic Brake Control Module
Controls anti-lock braking system (ABS), traction control, and electronic stability control. Critical for vehicle safety and braking performance.
Radio
Basic audio system module controlling AM/FM radio, CD player, and audio settings. Provides entertainment and information through the vehicle audio system.
Human Machine Interface
Advanced infotainment system with touchscreen control for navigation, media, phone connectivity, and vehicle settings. Modern interface for all entertainment and information needs.
Park Distance Control
Parking assistance system using ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles. Provides visual and audible warnings to assist with parking maneuvers.
Front View Camera
Front-facing camera system for improved visibility and safety. Helps drivers navigate tight spaces and avoid obstacles in front of the vehicle.
HVAC Module
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning control module. Manages climate control, fan speed, temperature regulation, and air distribution throughout the vehicle.
Module Availability
